Composing
a multimedia project with music
"Composing" begun during the 2020 Lockdown in Italy. During the battle against the virus for the sake of free artistical expression, a teacher from the music school A.M.A. in Alberobello, with one of her pupil, decided to convert part of what had always been a closing year musical show in a music video, safe to watch on the web. They then asked me to create a cover for this song...
So from the beautiful piece composed by this pupil, Sara Angiulli, I got inspiration to paint "Composing": a cyberpunk ode to creativity in any form, but with explicit visual hints to music.
Beside the multimedia project in collaboration with Sara Angiulli and Vania Liuzzi, my watercolour piece was selected to be published on the art catalogue ArtNow (Art-Now.it - V - year III 2020 - september/october issue).
"Composing" was also video-exhibited in the Pintér Galeria of Budapest during the collective exhibition of the Premio Internazionale città di Budapest between the 23rd and 30th of april 2021 (the exhibition was postponed from the original dates of november 2020 to comply with Hungary's anti-CoViD restrictions).
